I don't think the Tribe should trade either Colon or Thome. Trading Thome=trading Rocky Colovito. Trading Colon=trading Bob Feller. I don't think the Tribe should do that. If either or both players go free agent, so be it. In that case, the Tribe gets a number one draft choice for both.
If the Tribe keeps playing like they have been of late, then the might win the division. Winning the division is the whole point of the thing. You can have a .650 record and not make the playoffs, but a .550 record might win this division.
Maybe the pitching will hold up now. If so, good pitching usually beats good hitting. Look at the Mets. Look at the Braves (although the Braves do usually have good hitting).
Anyhow, I don't think it's time to start trading players until after we see how the Tribe does against Boston and New York.

"Trading Thome=trading Rocky Colavito"
No way. I was there. It was the end of the Tribe World as we knew it. We are still looking for a player with the impact of the Rock.

I was going to let it slide, but Bartolo Colon ain't no Bob Feller, either.

And who are we to argue with you? Hey the Tribe is back at .500. I guess you've been phoning for playoff tickets right? Silly man!

You don't think Bart will throw three no-hitters and twelve one-hitters around spending four years in a war? Com'n, have a little faith, baby!

The Guttierez signing was not a good signing at worst. But to say that Shapiro loses respect for it is kind of silly. How many other GMs around the league make exactly the same kind of signings everyday. If every signing they made worked and was a good signing, their team would win every WS.

Do you realize this club is in danger of being dismantled EVEN MORE when we should have won the divison easily this year....most of that is because of the Ricky G signing...
It's a BIGGGGG DEAL!!!

Alexx, with that statement you continue to show how incredibly stupid you are. The team is to be dismantled because of RickyG grounding into double plays I thought your Alex Escobar conspiracy was pathetic Then again you believe a .244 hitter in AAA should be our starting secondbaseman
